I misplace my knitting needles all the time. It is very annoying. This piece seemed like the perfect size to store them. It is red clay, handbuilt with coils. I originally glazed it "milk chocolate" and I HATED it. Picture a big pile of brown coils. It looked like something a dog left in the yard. So I reglazed with turquoise and I am much happier with the color.
much better than the pringles can my mom used to keep the ones we were allowed to use in!
