OH yes, another cardigan for my boy. This time, a little bit smaller, little bit more of a chunky yarn. I tell you I am obsessed with baby knits. It is SO satisfying to be done with something in a week as opposed to a month or more. Im not sure how Little Guy feels about it though. He kind of gave the horse eye when I showed it to him...like it doesnt light up, I cant eat it..what's the point.
But, I discovered something new in this process. Something Im sure others reading this know about..but I just discovered it. See when you knit baby clothes, you need to sew in something to reinforce the snaps so the litttle darling doesnt chew them off and choke. I hate this part. I find hand sewing snaps to be..well.. a big PITA. But no more my friends. Today, at JoAnns, a very nice lady showed me this strip of fabric with the snaps already sewn in. All I have to do is sew the strip of fabric into the sweater and voila--it is done. Happy Happy Dance for that one.
